Council Meeting

That the Town of Goderich Council hereby accepts the October 19, 2020 regular Council Agenda, as presented.

That the Town of Goderich Council hereby adopts the October 5, 2020 regular Council Minutes, as printed.

That the Truly Nolen account in the amount of $2,044.40 be approved for payment.

That the accounts for the period ending October 8, 2020 in the amount of $1,556,242.41 be approved for payment.

That the direct monthly payments for September 2020 be approved for payment.

That the Staff Reports 7.1 to 7.9 be received for information and the noted action be approved.

That Goderich Town Council authorize the Town Solicitor to file an Application with the Superior Court seeking an injunction to have the cannabis operation at 199 Anglesea Street halt activities and vacate the building.

That an extension to the Order for a maximum of 3 months be given; and That if, at that time, there is no work being done, the Town proceed with demolition based on the value of the last quotes obtained.

That the correspondence be received for information.

That the correspondence items be received for information and the noted action be approved.

That By-Law No. 112 of 2020 be

That By-Law 111 of 2020 be taken alone.

That By-Law 111 of 2020 be read a First and Second Time.

That By-Law 111 of 2020 be read a Third Time and Finally Passed.

That a bequest of $10,000 received from the Estate of Doris Mae Stanworth be used for "the maintenance and repair of a municipal dog park" and that it be put into the Recreation Reserve and that future discussions surrounding the bequest funds occur during the 2021 budget deliberations.

That Council rise at 6:39 p.m. and go into Closed Committee of the Whole Session pursuant to Section 239(2) b, c, f, i and k.

That Council rise and come out of Closed Committee of the Whole Session at 6:53 p.m.

That the motion brought forward by Councillor Hoy with respect to the hangar leases, be

That leave be given to introduce By-Law No. 113 of 2020 being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Goderich Town Council meeting held on October 19, 2020 and that it now be read a first, second, and third time, and finally passed this 19th day of October, 2020.

That Goderich Town Council does now adjourn at 7:15 p.m. to meet again at the regular meeting of Council scheduled for November 9, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
