Special Council Meeting

That Goderich Town Council hereby unanimously consents to discussing and considering the following at the December 2, 2019 Special Council meeting at 4:30 p.m.: Personal Matters Assignment of Lease – North Harbour Restaurant

That the Town of Goderich Council hereby accepts the December 2, 2019 Special Council Agenda, as amended.

That pursuant to Section 17 of the Lease Agreement, Council authorize the assignment of the lease to the property adjacent to the Government Wharf, so-called, in the Public Harbour of Goderich, in the Town of Goderich, County of Huron and Province of Ontario, the said land comprising an area of seven thousand, two hundred and fifty-six square feet, to Mathew Parsonage and Joanne Matthews In Trust for a company to be Incorporated and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute all documents necessary for that purpose.

That Council rise at 4:44 p.m. and goes into Closed Committee of the Whole pursuant to Section 239 (2) b, d, f, g and k and pursuant to Section 228 (4) of the Municipal Act, the Clerk has delegated her authority to the Town Solicitor for the purposes of the Closed Council meeting.

That Council rise and come out of Closed Committee of the Whole Session at 6:28 p.m.

That Council proceed as directed in the Closed Committee of the Whole Session.

That leave be given to introduce By-Law No. 124 of 2019 being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Goderich Town Council special meeting held on December 2, 2019 and that it now be read a first, second, and third time, and finally passed this 2nd day of December, 2019.

That Goderich Town Council does now adjourn at 6:31 p.m. to meet again at the regular meeting of Council scheduled for December 16, 2019.
