That the Town of Goderich Council hereby accepts the March 8, 2021 regular Council Agenda, as presented.

That the Town of Goderich Council hereby adopts the February 22, 2021 regular Council Minutes, as printed.

That Goderich Town Council authorize and support the new site location for the pickle-ball courts and provide the shortfall funds of $30,000 in addition to the $25,000 remaining from the 2020 budget regarding Victoria Park, to support build and location of the new pickle-ball courts at Columbus Park.

That staff proceed to advertise for members of the Recreation Review Ad Hoc Committee as well as a subcommittee of the Recreation Review Committee being an Ad Hoc Youth Recreation Committee.

That the Truly Nolen account in the amount of $91.00 be approved for payment.

That the accounts for the period ending February 26, 2021 in the amount of $693,128.23 be approved for payment.

That the Staff Reports be received for information and the noted action be approved.

That the correspondence be received for information.

That Goderich Town Council support the motion regarding advocacy for reform - MFIPPA legislation.

That Council not support the motion regarding criminal records and Municipal Election Candidates and further that Council indicates its repudiation of the motion.

WHEREAS the Ontario Fire College Campus has been in operation in Gravenhurst since 1958; and WHEREAS the Ontario Fire College Campus is one of the primary sources of certified training for Ontario Firefighters; and WHEREAS the Ontario Fire College Campus has built a reputation of integrity, credibility, and reliability in providing some of the best training to our Fire Services within the Province of Ontario; and WHEREAS the Ontario Fire College Campus has been used to train and certify both Volunteer, Part-Time and Career firefighters throughout Ontario; and WHEREAS the Regional Training Centers are not all created equal and similar in function to the Ontario Fire College Campus; and WHEREAS the Ontario Fire College Campus gives Ontario Firefighters another option other than Regional Training Centers to obtain National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) certifications; and WHEREAS the Ontario Fire College Campus is the most cost-effective method for municipalities to certify Firefighters to NFPA Standards in Ontario; and WHEREAS the Ontario Government enacted and revoked 0. Reg. 379/18: Firefighter Certification in 2018; and WHEREAS when the Ontario Government revoked 0. Reg. 379/18: Firefighter Certification, it was made known by the Office of the Solicitor General that the act would be amended and brought back in the future; and THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town of Goderich requests that the Province of Ontario reverse their decision to close the Ontario Fire College

That Council rise at 5:42 p.m. and go into Closed Committee of the Whole Session pursuant to Section 239(2)(b) - CAO Performance Evaluation.

That leave be given to introduce By-Law No. 38 of 2021 being a By-Law to confirm the proceedings of the Goderich Town Council meeting held on March 8, 2021 and that it now be read a first, second, and third time, and finally passed this 8th day of March, 2021.

That Goderich Town Council does now adjourn at 6:32 p.m. to meet again at the regular meeting of Council scheduled for March 15, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
